1) Roles: controller vs. processor

Depending on the context, we act as:

  • Controller for personal data related to Website visitors and business contacts (e.g., inquiries, demo requests, newsletter sign-ups).
  • Processor / service provider for personal data in Customer Content that Customers submit to the Services (e.g., end-user data processed on a Customer’s instructions). Where we act as a processor, our applies.

2) Personal data we collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

A) Information you provide

  • Contact and business information (e.g., name, business email, company, role, phone number).
  • Communications (e.g., messages you send us, support requests, call recordings where permitted and disclosed).
  • Account information (if you create or are provisioned an account), such as authentication identifiers and profile details provided by your organization or identity provider.
  • Billing or transaction information (if applicable), such as invoicing details and payment status (payment card details are typically handled by our payment processor, if we use one).

B) Information collected automatically (Website/Services usage)

  • Device and usage data (e.g., approximate location derived from IP, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, referring page).
  • Security and operational logs (e.g., access logs, audit logs, error logs).

3) Sources of personal data

We collect personal data from:

  • Customers / your organization (e.g., when a Customer provisions your account or submits Customer Content that includes personal data).
  • Service providers that help us operate the Website/Services (e.g., hosting, security, analytics when enabled).

4) How we use personal data (purposes)

We use personal data to:

  • Provide and operate the Website and Services, including authentication, customer support, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
  • Improve and develop our Website and Services (e.g., understand which pages are used and where users encounter issues).
  • Communicate with you (e.g., respond to inquiries, send service communications).
  • Manage our business relationship with Customers and prospective Customers (e.g., contracting, billing, account management).
  • Protect security and prevent abuse, including detecting fraud, misuse, and security incidents.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

5) Legal bases (EEA/UK) and similar concepts elsewhere

If you are in the EEA/UK, we rely on the following legal bases under GDPR/UK GDPR, as applicable:

  • Performance of a contract (e.g., providing the Services to a Customer and authorized users).
  • Legitimate interests (e.g., securing our systems, improving the Website/Services, responding to business inquiries), where our interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent where required (e.g., analytics cookies, which are opt-in and off by default).
  • Legal obligation (e.g., responding to lawful requests, maintaining certain records).

In other regions (including US and MENA/GCC), we process personal data under comparable lawful grounds recognized by local law (e.g., consent, contract, legitimate interests, and legal obligations), where applicable.

6) Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — opt-in only

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand Website usage and improve our Website. We do not use GA for ads or remarketing.

  • Default: analytics is off.
  • No GA loading or events: we do not load or fire GA4 unless you opt in to analytics cookies.
  • You can withdraw consent at any time using our cookie preferences.

We also take steps to reduce the risk of sending identifiers to analytics (for example, we do not intentionally include personal data in analytics event parameters).

7) How we share personal data

We may share personal data with:

  • Service providers / subprocessors who help us operate the Website and Services (e.g., hosting, security, analytics when enabled).

  • For the duration of the Customer’s subscription and a reasonable period thereafter; and
  • Longer where required by law, dispute resolution, or to enforce agreements.

Retention can vary based on the type of data (for example, security logs may be retained for a period to support investigations and abuse prevention).

10) Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect data through access controls, encryption in transit where feasible, and monitoring.

  • Correct inaccurate personal data;
  • Delete personal data;

If you are an authorized user of a Customer, please note that the Customer controls Customer Content in the Services. In many cases, we will refer your request to the Customer or require the Customer to submit the request.

EEA/UK

If you are in the EEA/UK, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

US (state privacy laws)

If applicable, you may have rights related to access, deletion, correction, and obtaining information about disclosures of personal data. We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If required by applicable state law, you may also have the right to appeal our decision regarding a rights request. To appeal, reply to the response you received or contact with “Appeal” in the subject line.

MENA/GCC

Local laws in the MENA/GCC region may provide rights that are similar to those above. Where such laws apply, we honor applicable rights requests consistent with local requirements.

12) Children’s data

Our Website and Services are not directed to children and are intended for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
